We have been retained by our client for a number of years, having successfully placed: Doctors, Dentists, Hygienist’s, Professors, Lecturers, Endodontists and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Our client is a modern dental/general medical clinic with learning facility attached. All of the patient care is private client driven. Kindly note that our client will apply for your license as a Specialist Medical Professor in the Emirate of Dubai. Associate and Full Professor in Endodontics – Applicants must have DDS or DMD degrees or equivalent and specialty education certificates or degrees from Euro-Western source, members of UK Royal Colleges are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with specialty board certifications, as well as candidates with Ph.D. degrees (or equivalent) and especially those with research experience, who demonstrate potential to acquire extramural funding. Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching of postgraduate residents in a program designed in a “Euro-Western” curriculum style. Premier qualified candidates should hold a DDS or DMD degree, be eligible for dental licensure in Emirate of Dubai, have completed an advanced education program in endodontics, and hold a Certificate in Endodontics. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in working in and fostering a diverse faculty, student, and staff environment (or a commitment to do so). A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred. Candidates should be board certified by the American Board of Endodontics or board eligible for such certification if less than four years removed from the completion of their advanced education program in endodontics. Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach (dentistry and/or dental hygiene), or to acquire and develop such ability that incorporates adult learning theory, evidence-based oral health care, innovation in student learning, critical thinking. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to contribute to and participate in a humanistic environment of learning and discover and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change and embrace modern technologies. Successful candidates will be expected to be productive in research and scholarly pursuits. Faculty practice opportunities are available.
